We’re taking the plunge! We’re building a tiny house!
Currently, we’re looking into acquiring a 25’ – 27’ flatbed trailer (if you have one, let us know!) and materials. I’ll be documenting the whole process right here on MiS. If you’re interested in building your own tiny home, you’ll be able to pop over to this post in the future to see just how we did it; I’ll be posting the links at the very end as we work.
Why the sudden decision to build a tiny house?
This has actually been an ongoing discussion for over two years, and we’re ready to take the plunge. We’ve each been looking for more ways to simplify and downsize, and a tiny home is the perfect combination of the two.
Who will be living in the tiny house?
I (Aly) will be living in this tiny home. I’ll make sure to post pictures once it’s complete (with my personal touches, of course). Denise has plans to renovate an airstream in the future and move into it, so we’re each downsizing into new spaces.
Where will your pets go?
They’ll be coming with me! Once the house is complete, I’ll most likely live on a lot with some space for the boys (my dogs) to run around. I’m sure they’ll love that!
