Happy Minimalist New Year!
Welcome to 2013! 2012 was a year full of challenges, experiences, successes, and happiness and I’m excited to tackle 2013. Today is the day to embrace the new year.
Summary of 2012
2012 was the year we decided to embrace simplicity. It was the year we opened our eyes and realized that our lives were cluttered by “stuff”. It was the year we decided to spend more time with our loved ones and less time in stores or online. It was the year we realized what really makes us happy and decided to go for it.
It was also the year we invited you to join us on our journey. And the turnout/support has been more than we could have hoped for.
What’s Next?
This year we’re continuing on our journey. We’re still simplifying, decluttering, and deowning. What we will not be doing this year is making resolutions. Instead of making a resolution (or a “week-long commitment”) we’ve made the change and decided we will just continue to pursue happiness and simplicity. Each day offers a new experience, and we will live one day at a time.
There’s some great events happening in 2013, and we’re eager to share them. The turnout for the 30 Day Challenge has been fantastic. We will be launching an eBook and printed version of the 30 Day Challenge for you to take with you, make notes in, and challenge yourself to make the change. The 30 Day Challenge book will launch this month and will have a few new challenges for you to take on. Our 30 Day Challenge page will still remain on this site and will always be free for you to take on anytime.
We’ve also begun compiling The Decluttering Sessions to help you tackle the rooms in your home, office, car… everywhere. We’re aiming to launch an eBook and printed version in March.
